My story

Once upon a time, in a far off land of Kansas, a girl moved to Philly knowing only her sweet new husband of 8 days. Said girl had an artsy side and decided, “hmmm I think I will teach myself calligraphy and hand lettering!” And so I did. And so Magnolia Paperie was born after a million trial and errors and practice sheets and handmade cards to family and friends.

And then I learned to design wedding stationery, and my creative side grew a little more. Fast forward to now, and I’m hand painting watercolor animals and designing wedding stationery for my favorite people.

Wedding invitations are such a precious part of what I do. I believe they should be heirloom pieces; I have mine framed, so does my mom, and so did my nana. And gosh I just want you to have yours framed too! They should be a beautiful testament to who you are as a couple, and a keepsake you can look back on and smile.

The mail…. is boring. So let’s make it fun. Let’s celebrate the big things, the little things, and all the moments in between. Getting married? I want to be a part of it!
